About Champions School of Real Estate

texas-890550_1280Champions School of Real Estate is a prominent provider of real estate training in Texas but has recently expanded to also offering CE in Oklahoma and Florida.

Champions was started by Rita Santamaria in 1983, which makes it one of the longest-running real estate schools in Texas.

Champions has trained more real estate agents than any other school in Texas. Tens of thousands of students have completed their pre-licensing and continuing education courses.  Students are promised "a total education experience." And the school delivers on this expectation by offering up-to-date information that keeps pace with the changing world of real estate, up to 100 experienced & qualified instructors, and welcoming environment.

Champions School of Real Estate FAQs

Champions School of Real Estate online courses include the basic licensing course, sales agent apprenticeship, continuing education, and broker courses.

Their live delivery helps students combine the best benefits of online learning with the perks of in-person classes. Students only require webcams and mics to participate.

Experienced instructors.  Most teachers have at least five years of experience in their teaching specialties.

Delivery modes range from a blended classroom to online correspondence.

They offer career counseling in-person at their campus, via live chat, or by speaking to instructors on the phone. You can also attend free career nights held each month.

Champions is widely regarded as the leader in Texas real estate education. Lots of positive things have been said about Champions, including flexible class hours, good teachers, and helpful staff. Former students highly recommend the school.

The biggest drawbacks:

Some people think their courses are expensive relative to other institutions – especially online alternatives.

They don't provide payment plans that would allow students to manage tuition costs – which some other courses do.

The programs are limited to a few states. Currently, you can only take the pre-licensing course in Texas. And CE courses are available in Oklahoma & Florida.

Your total costs will depend on the tier you choose. For instance, you'll pay $1600+ for the 11-course program that's entirely taught in-person at their campuses.

The cheapest option is the 6-course license program and features Blended Classroom as one of the delivery modes. It means that you can complete part of the course work in class and the other at home.

There are 180 mandatory hours students must complete before sitting for state exams. Generally, you might take four months to 6 months, depending on your speed and selected mode of learning. With the self-paced online course option, you may be able to finish in just 3 weeks – but this would require putting in 12 hour days.
